Some people might find more meaning in a photograph of a smooth pebble, but I find this image compelling in a least a couple ways. The dude that really wants to teach you guitar brings to mind the many people who know something (and many of those who don't) who seem over-eager to share their wisdom. What of it? Naming this pathology -- with words, or with a photo, or with both, as the onion so expertly does -- gives us something simple to watch out for and make fun of, and this brings much good cheer. Moreover, the guy looks creepy, so I have to wonder if his plan to teach you guitar might be just a cover for more sinister intentions.
